Following a successful career in marketing, Pam Carroll moved to Ireland in 2004. She studied art full-time at the CIT Crawford College of Art and Design in Cork.

Graduating in 2010 with a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art, she was awarded the prize for Best Thesis (Conserving Conceptual Art - Issues Facing Modern Art Museums in the 21st Century) and was joint winner of the Student of the Year Award.

In December 2010, she became one of only five winners in the sculpture category of the Europol Art competition. The competition was open to graduate artists within the 27 member states of the European Union. Her prize-winning work is on permanent display at the new Europol Headquarters in The Hague, The Netherlands.

Her first solo show was in February 2011 and her work can now be found in both national and international public and private collections.

She is now based in the UK, where she continues her visual arts practice.
